Here is an idea for a gift for someone who might be hard to buy for. Buy them several canvas shopping bags that they can reuse over and over at the grocery store or department store.Many grocery stores now sell green shopping bags and they usually take about 5 cents off your purchase for each bag that you bring and reuse.
I personally have a large set of these bags and I use them every time I go to the grocery store. Not only am I keeping landfills from getting that much more full of plastic bags, I have found that they are actually easier to use and carry from the car to the house. The durability of the bags also ensure that your milk will not fall to the ground and burst open because of flimsy plastic bags.
Make sure to buy 4 to 8 as most people use that many on an average trip to the grocery store.
